چکیده
Abstract Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a serious health problem characterized by cellular infiltration and progressive destruction of the hepatic parenchyma resulting in cirrhosis, liver failure death. In current study, we assessed ameliorative role Δ 8-THC limiting disease severity its regulatory on gut microbiota thereby altering differentiation T cell subsets murine model Concanavalin A-induced hepatitis. AIH was induced C57BL/6 mice ConA (12.5mg/Kg i.v.) treated i.p. with vehicle or 20mg/Kg 8-THC. Interestingly, treatment after challenge led to significantly decreased injury enzymes, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) aspartate (AST) levels than exposed mice. Flow cytometry analysis infiltrating cells revealed reduced expression pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-17A IFNγ elevated immunosuppressive TGF-β1 IL-10 ConA-treated following treatment. Protective effect of interleukin-36 receptor antagonist on liver injury induced by concanavalin A in mice
Objective(s): Interleukin-36 receptor antagonist (IL-36Ra) is a new member of the IL-1 family that exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in a variety of inflammatory and immune diseases. Our purpose was to determine the effect of IL-36Ra on liver injury in a mouse hepatitis model induced by concanavalin A (ConA). Materials and Methods: Mic...
متن کاملMydriasis induced by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in rats.
Male albino rats, injected intravenously or intracerebroventricularly with delta 1-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), develop mudriasis. The median effective dose of the intravenous administration group was 5 mg/kg THC, whereas that for the intracerebroventricular route was 150 microgram/kg THC. Sympathectomy significantly decreased the THC-induced mydriasis. The mydriatic effect was not influenced by...

ALI/ARDS (acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome) is a severe inflammatory lung disease associated with very high mortality. Importantly, no effective therapy has been developed to date for ALI/ARDS. Neutrophils have been implicated in the pathogenesis of ALI/ARDS, and IL-8 (interleukin-8) has been identified as the main chemotactic factor for neutrophils in lung fluids of patien...

AIM The objective of this meta-analysis is to assess the data regarding changes in herbal cannabis potency over time (from 1970 to 2009). METHODS Systematic searches of 17 electronic scientific databases identified studies on this topic, within which 21 case series studies satisfied our inclusion criteria of reporting the mean tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) value per number of samples per year. N...
